From Concept to Completion: Our Process
The success of demanding engineering programs rests on disciplined stage-gating and proactive risk mitigation. MVD implements a proven six-stage methodology adaptable to the technical scope, timeline, and entry stage of each client engagement.
Idea & Research
Purpose: Problem framing, technical requirements breakdown, competitive benchmarking, and initial feasibility determination.
Engineering & Design
Purpose: Transforming concepts into parametric 3D CAD assemblies, structural FEA stress simulations, kinematics, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews.
Prototyping
Purpose: Fabrication of functional proof-of-concept prototypes via CNC milling, laser cutting, wire EDM, or industrial additive manufacturing.
Testing & Validation
Purpose: Exposing the prototype to representative mechanical loads, environmental exposure, cyclic duty fatigue, and tolerance checks.
Manufacturing
Purpose: Industrial production setup. Multi-axis CNC milling, turning, injection mold toolmaking, and raw material qualification.
Implementation & Handover
Purpose: Final mechanical assembly, commissioning, acceptance testing, and delivery of full technical documentation.
Process Modularity
Our process can be deployed as an end-to-end turnkey cycle or engaged modularly at specific development milestones. Whether you bring an early back-of-the-envelope concept or production-ready CAD models requiring tooling and machining, MVD interfaces seamlessly with your internal milestones.
